1. About Nyro
Nyro is an independent software project operated from Romania.
Nyro helps people discover runs, clubs, and running communities. The product is continually evolving, and features may change over time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required by applicable law in your country, whichever is higher, to use Nyro.
By using Nyro, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.
You are responsible for the information you provide and for activity that occurs under your account.
You must not share your account, impersonate another person, or create an account using inaccurate or misleading information.
If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact us at contact@joinnyro.com.
4. Safety and Real-World Activity
Running, joining group activities, and meeting other people involve real-world risks.
You are responsible for your own safety, judgment, health, equipment, route choices, and interactions when joining runs, attending club activities, or meeting others through Nyro.
Nyro does not supervise runs or verify every organizer, route, participant, club, or activity. Participation in any run, event, or community activity is at your own risk.
Nyro does not provide medical, fitness, training, emergency, or safety advice. You should consult appropriate professionals before beginning or changing physical activity, especially if you have health concerns.
Nyro is not an emergency service. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
5. Public and Shared Content
Some content on Nyro may be public or shareable, including run pages, club pages, invite links, and selected profile or community information.
Public or shared content may be visible outside the app and may be accessible without logging in.
You are responsible for the content you post and should avoid sharing personal or sensitive information that you do not want others to see.
You retain ownership of content you submit to Nyro. By posting content, you grant Nyro a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, and distribute that content as necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the service.
This license ends when your content is deleted, except where content has been shared with others, retained in backups, or must be retained for legal, safety, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or operational reasons.
6. Clubs, Runs, and Community Roles
Nyro allows users to create, join, and manage clubs and runs.
Club owners and admins may manage club details, membership requests, members, roles, and ownership transfers.
Run hosts and club organizers are responsible for the information they provide and for using reasonable care when organizing community activities.
Nyro is not responsible for decisions made by club owners, admins, run hosts, or participants, but we may intervene when we believe safety, abuse, platform integrity, or Terms violations are involved.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- abuse, disrupt, or misuse the service
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- harass, threaten, bully, or target others
- post illegal, harmful, hateful, abusive, sexually exploitative, or deceptive content

8. Community Standards and Safety
Nyro is intended to be a respectful and welcoming community.
We have zero tolerance for harassment, threats, hate speech, abusive behavior, impersonation, scams, spam, sexually exploitative content, or other harmful conduct.
Our Community Guidelines explain the standards we expect from everyone using the platform.
Users may report profiles, clubs, runs, or other content that they believe violates these Terms or creates an unsafe experience.
Safety reports may also be sent to contact@joinnyro.com.
Users may also block other users to help manage their experience within the community.
We may investigate reports and may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or permanently terminate access to Nyro when we believe these Terms have been violated or community safety is at risk.
We may also remove clubs, runs, profiles, or other content that violates these Terms.
We reserve the right to take moderation actions at our discretion to protect users, communities, and the integrity of the service.
If you believe moderation action was taken in error, you may contact us at contact@joinnyro.com.
9. Account Deletion
You may request account deletion in the app.
If you own clubs with other active members, you may need to transfer ownership before deletion.
If you are the only active member of a club you own, deleting your account may also delete that club and cancel future club runs.
Some information may remain where required for legal, security, backup, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or platform integrity reasons.
10. Intellectual Property
Nyro's app, software, design, branding, logos, graphics, text, and other materials are owned by Nyro, its operators, or its licensors.
These Terms do not give you ownership of Nyro or permission to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of the service except as allowed by law or with our written permission.
11. Product Changes
Nyro is an evolving product and service.
We may change, suspend, limit, or remove features at any time as we test, improve, or operate the service.
We may remove content, clubs, runs, profiles, invitations, or accounts that violate these Terms, receive credible safety reports, create risk for users, or otherwise harm the service or community.
12. No Warranties
Nyro is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that Nyro will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, available in every location, or suitable for your specific needs.
You use Nyro at your own risk.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Nyro and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or similar damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the service, including claims related to personal injury or property damage, except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims relating to Nyro is limited to the amount you paid to use Nyro, if any.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
14. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data when you use Nyro.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights that may apply under applicable law.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time as Nyro evolves.
The updated version will include a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of Nyro after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
